Sadguru is the true Spiritual Master who comes to Earth for the sake of all the mankind. He arrives in order to awaken spirituality and remind of the ultimate goal and the meaning of the person‘s life on this Earth. Sadguru does not divide people by religion, age, attitude or social status. He teaches eternal truths, laws of the world being, which, if you follow them, leads you to life in harmony with yourself and the world.
The Master gives teaching and passes on Knowledge considering the specifics and need of this complicated era in which we live (kali yuga – Dark Age). His teaching is practical and consistent and his knowledge helps and makes life easier for all who seek it. Sadguru teaches people how To Live instead of trying to avoid the duties of their living, since spiritual development is possible in a secular life with a family, work and right conduct. It is spirituality in the broadest sense of the word.
Each person has a Spiritual Master, never mind he knows about it or not, believes in it or not. The Meeting with the Master never happens by accident – this is the greatest gift of God.
People meet their Master in very different circumstances. Each has his own karma. Someone meets the Master during the best period, when the good karma of all his many lives awakes. But someone comes to the Master in the hardest period of his life. He prays to God for help and God turns him to the Master to alleviate the life hardship. The accumulated good karma allows the person to pray to God, to realize that there is someone who can help to overcome difficulties. Hope always keeps living inside the human-being. In a hardship the person becomes exhausted soon. But sadhana (sanskr. spiritual practice) which he starts to follow after meeting the Master helps him to overcome those difficulties.
Every person has a karma – a burden piled up from acts in previous lives, in the shape of thoughts, words and behaviours. Karma can be both good and bad. It’s hardly possible to escape your karma. The person has to live through all his karma on his own. In other words, he has to work it out. You’ll reap what you sow. Only Sadguru can help the person to change his karma. If a person meets his Master in his life, this happens due to His mercy and this person’s good karma.
As karma is large and powerful, one moment and mere carelessness is enough to change everything. The person can make many mistakes, which would mean increment in karma.
Where ever the person happens to be – any spot in the world, any moment, when he just thinks of Sadguru, the Master – his power – immediately appears next to him. The Master always keeps in touch and He always responds. It’s just vital that the disciple’s heart would always carry bhakti (love and devotion) to his Master.
The ultimate goal of the person’s life is to gain knowledge of himself and his soul. The Guru’s task is to help the person to reach this goal and unite with God. Sadguru’s role is critical here. However, the person’s spiritual path depends on his past karma too. If the person forgets at least for one minute about his Ishta, he will drown in the oceans of karma. The oceans of karma are barely possible to swim out. Without the Master, the person will drown as the power of karma is very strong. It continuously follows, strives to manifest itself and give result. But what sort of result will be generated is known only by God. A person aware of that will be cautious. The Guru always warns about the returning karma threats and always gives advice as he knows what is good for that person.
The Master knows the visitor’s questions, problems, desires and helps everyone. His help could be in very different forms. Even if the person is not asking anything, he still receives a fulfillment.
The Master greets the visitor with the words „Radhe-Radhe!”. These words are an appeal to a person who loves God and wishes him Light, Love and Knowledge. Basically, it’s the Master’s blessing to anyone who has come to him.
The Master is addressed with the words “Master” or “Guru Ji” (Honorable Master).
How is the meeting with the Master held?
Individual meeting. During this meeting Spiritual Master Shri Prakash Ji provides knowledge to a particular person, answers his questions concerning social, family and spiritual sides of life. Individual meetings proceed differently: some ask questions and listen to answers, some sit with the Master in silence, others meditate together…
When you come to the Master for help and he gives particular advice, make efforts to fulfill it. Then everything will go favourably. If the Master gives advice and his blessing, everything will work out. When the Master says “I will pray for you”, it means, he gives you his blessing, he will stay with you, help you, but you yourself will have to do your best to solve the problems too.
If the person listens to the Master and acts on his advice, he and his life will go only for better. At the beginning there could be uncertainty, but, over time, the person starts to realize: all the Master says is right.
When pure and clear thoughts prevail, the person fully understands every word of his Master. Over time, it becomes clear that Guru Ji’s energy works like the Master’s power. Meeting with him, his prayer, acceptance of his word, meditations with him, fulfilling his advice – all this brings great wellbeing, just the person is not able to understand it at once.
Darshan (Master’s sight-blessing). In terms of time, it’s a short meeting with the Master when the Master gives the visitor a blessing. It can be held in silence as well as with asking a few short questions.
Diksha or initiation. During this meeting the Master gives a spiritual practice – sadhana which is dedicated for work with yourself. In this meeting the disciple can ask short questions related to performance of the practice.
The basis of the Diksha is mantra. It is a sacred word or phrase of the Sanskrit language which has a great spiritual power. Mantra, given to each disciple , suits his spiritual qualities and living circumstances – karma. That is, it makes an individual impact on the person. The Master explains the meaning of the mantra, what way and how often it should be repeated. Repetition of the mantra (called japa) gives the person great wellbeing in both his spiritual and secular life. This is the purpose of the mantra.
In the course of time, the connection with God is created. This connection gives the person spiritual power, energy, grants peace of mind, purifies thinking and ensures protection… With the person’s spiritual power and positive traits increasing, all the person’s life changes for better.
Spiritual practice involves not only japa or mantra-meditation (meditation with repeating the mantra), but also highly significant work with yourself developing the good traits and supplanting the bad ones. Doing japa the disciple is provided with energy for successful work with himself.
